FABRIC TALK: TENCEL / LYOCELL
Tencel is a sustainable fabric, which allows your skin to ‘breathe’ and doesn’t absorb odors.
FABRIC TALK: SILK
Commercially produced silk is not very environmental and animal friendly. Better alternatives are wild silk or organic silk
FABRIC TALK: HEMP
Hemp is environmental friendly material, grown without the use of any pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
FABRIC TALK: ORGANIC WOOL
Organic wool comes from sheep who graze on land which is not treated with pesticides and are not dipped in pesticide baths.
FABRIC TALK: BAMBOO
A disadvantage of bamboo viscose is that the processing has the same (high) impact on the environment as conventional viscose and if you want to reach a maximum ecological benefit, you still have to make sure that bamboo is harvested in a sustainable way.
